Corvée was a French term used in the Middle-Ages to describe the activities and work of the Vassals, who would work on the land of superiors for free in return of shelter and protection; this is how 400 Km of terraced cultivations originated in Val di Cembria. Today, local wine producers sharing the same core values use the term Corvée in name of a project that concentrates on the production of high quality Trentino D.O.C. wines with the particular focus on sustainability. Each wine produced displays the name of their vineyard on the label. Located at the entrance of Valle di Cembra, with its mild and dry microclimate, as well as soils of geological volcanic origin, rich in limestone, clay and minerals, this vineyard has all the essential elements that give this wine its full body, good acidity and great persistence. Straw yellow in colour with golden reflections, it has a very subtle scent of anice and tropical fruits.
